Johnny Liu has a diverse range of work experience in the technology field. Johnny started their career as a Software Engineer Co-op at DST Systems in 2014. From there, they worked as a Hardware Testing Co-op at Sierra Wireless in 2015-2016. In 2018, Johnny was a Lithium-Ion Battery Researcher, specializing in Applied Math, at the University of British Columbia. In 2019, they joined Advanced Intelligent Systems (AIS) as an Embedded Software Engineer. Johnny's most recent position is Firmware Developer at Portable Electric, where they have been working since 2022.
Johnny Liu attended The University of British Columbia from 2012 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Engineering Physics.
