Sergio de la Cruz

Sergio de la Cruz has worked in the software engineering field since 2004. Sergio began their career as a Professor in the Department of Bioengineering at Instituto Superior Politécnico José Antonio Echeverría (CUJAE). In 2011, they founded and served as Lead Developer of Inspira Studios and also worked as a Senior Python/C++ Software Developer for Oracle. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Software Developer for Spoken Communications and then as a Senior Software Engineer for Avaya. Currently, they are a Staff Software Engineer for Portable.

Sergio de la Cruz began their education in 1999, earning a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) from Instituto Superior Politécnico José Antonio Echeverría in 2004. Sergio then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology from the same institution in 2007. Finally, they began a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Vision at the same school, but did not complete the program.
