Ryan O'Dowd

Ryan O'Dowd has extensive experience in the field of engineering and software development. Ryan currently holds the position of Senior Director of Engineering at Portage Learning and NursingABC, Inc. In these roles, they are responsible for overseeing engineering operations. Prior to this, they worked at Oakwood Software Consulting, Inc. as the President and CEO where they developed and managed a mobile application called Tibbits. Additionally, they worked as a Development Engineer at Bosch Security Systems, Inc. Ryan began their career as a Summer Intern/Application Developer at JPMorgan Chase, where they led iOS and Android development projects. Ryan also gained experience as a Production Engineering Intern at Lucasfilm Animation, where they handled data management, artist support, and software development for various shows. Ryan started their professional journey as a Software Developer and Animator at the National Science Foundation EPSCoR Undergraduate Research program and worked as a Design/Visualization Aid at JJM Design, LLC.

Ryan O'Dowd began their education at Pine-Richland High School from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Delaware from 2010 to 2014. During their time at the University of Delaware, they also obtained a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering from 2013 to 2014.
