Arun Lamba

Arun Lamba has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Arun is currently the Head of Performance Improvement Services at Portage Point Partners since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Director at the same company since June 2019. From January 2018 to June 2019, Arun worked as a Management Consultant at Wilson Perumal & Company, where they managed and executed organizational restructures and transformation initiatives.

Before that, Arun held the position of General Manager at SG Polymask from May 2015 to September 2017, where they managed the P&L for a global packaging manufacturer and led various departments to drive EBITDA growth. Arun also acquired and integrated 3M's PolyMask business during their tenure. From October 2012 to May 2015, Arun was the General Manager at Silgan Equipment Corporation, where they successfully diversified and grew revenues by executing a strategic plan. Arun also acquired and integrated MCS Vision, expanding the product line.

Arun gained experience in project management, finance, and strategy as the Special Projects Manager at Silgan Closures from September 2010 to October 2012. Prior to that, they served as the Sustainability Manager at Silgan Holdings Inc. from September 2009 to October 2012, where they developed the sustainability strategy and managed cross-functional teams.

Arun began their career as a Consultant (Internship) at Investor Group Services (IGS) in 2008 and continued as a Strategy Consultant (Contractor) at The Spark Group in 2007. Arun also had a managerial role as a Musician and Manager at Uprise from December 2004 to April 2007, where they composed and performed music for an original rock band while handling business relationships and finances.

Arun's early career included serving as a Senior Consulting Associate at Cambridge Associates from July 2003 to April 2007. In this role, they provided investment strategy and portfolio analysis advisory to institutional investors and worked with NPOs on organizational strategy and financial planning.

Arun Lamba holds an MBA degree in Strategy, Operations, and Sustainability from MIT Sloan School of Management. Arun attended from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Tufts University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics and Economics. Arun attended Tufts University from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Arun Lamba has also obtained a certification in "Dimensions of Professional Selling & Mentoring Sales Leadership" from Carew International in May 2016.
