Laurel Peak is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in special education and leadership roles. Since August 2010, Laurel has served as a Special Education Teacher and Department Chair at Portage Public Schools, providing instruction and support for students with various learning challenges. Additionally, Laurel leads at-risk student programs and mentors students with autism. As a Regional Ambassador for SheJumps since June 2013 and a Facilitator at Pretty Lake Adventure Center since June 2012, Laurel focuses on team building and leadership development. Laurel holds a Master's degree in Special Education from Grand Valley State University and a Bachelor's degree in English, Women and Gender Studies, and Education from Dartmouth College.
