Rick Searing

Rick Searing has extensive experience in the field of education, particularly in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, serving as the IB Diploma Program Coordinator and IB Educator at Portage Public Schools since 2003. In addition, Rick holds roles as an IB Consultant, Team Leader for School Visits, and Workshop Leader with the International Baccalaureate organization. Contributions include teaching History of the Americas and Theory of Knowledge, along with serving as Treasurer for the International Baccalaureate Schools of Michigan. Rick's academic involvement extends to guest lecturing at Western Michigan University and authoring online courses for iTunes U, while previously teaching at various high schools and colleges. Rick's educational background includes a Master’s in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor's in Secondary Education from Arizona institutions.
