Leo Liu

Leo Liu is an Associate, Portage Capital Solutions at Portage and joined the firm in 2021. As a member of Portage, Leo invests in growth equity, structured equity, and special situation opportunities across financial technology and financial services companies globally. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including origination, due diligence, execution, and portfolio management. He is based in New York, United States.

Prior to Portage, Leo interned at Novacap, a Canadian private equity firm, where he worked on leveraged buyouts in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. Prior to Novacap, he completed a finance internship at Procter & Gamble (P&G) where he helped assess strategic initiatives.

Leo graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Commerce.
