Patrick Flavin

Patrick Flavin has an extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the healthcare industry. Patrick currently serves as the President of Portal Innovations, LLC, where they bridge the gap between scientific ideas and entrepreneurial realization by assembling an ecosystem of stakeholders in Chicago's commercial area. Prior to this, they were the President of ARCHES Technology, a healthcare technology company that delivers tailored and responsive content to healthcare providers and patients. Patrick also served as the SVP of Life Sciences Business Development at Outcome Health, where they facilitated better outcomes for patients through partnerships and educational content. Additionally, they have held the position of Executive Director at MATTER, a community of healthcare entrepreneurs and industry leaders working together to fuel healthcare innovation. Earlier in their career, Patrick served as Chief Legal Counsel at Advanced Life Sciences and held legal roles at Illinois House of Representatives and MediChem Life Sciences.

Patrick Flavin attended Benet Academy from 1989 to 1993. Patrick then went on to attend Providence College from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Finally, Flavin pursued a Juris Doctor degree at DePaul University College of Law from 1997 to 2000.
