Raul Vasquez

Raul Vasquez currently serves as the Executive Director of the UChicago Science Incubator at Portal Innovations, LLC, where responsibilities include leading the build-out, launch, and operations of the incubator. Previously, Raul held multiple leadership roles at Evozyne, advancing from Director of Project Management to Senior Director of Alliance Management from April 2021 to January 2025. At the University of Chicago, Raul was an Operational Excellence Partner, focusing on process improvement across various departments within the Biological Sciences Division. Raul’s experience also includes significant roles at Baxter International Inc., where contributions involved the evaluation and implementation of process analytical technology and leading manufacturing initiatives. Raul's leadership extends to professional organizations, having served as Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Professional Development for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and as Chapter President for SHPE IIT, where the chapter received national recognition. Educational qualifications include an MBA and a BS in Biomedical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
