Evan Solomon

Evan Solomon is a seasoned professional in the blockchain and investment sectors, currently serving as Chief of Staff at Portal Ventures since June 2025 and co-founding the Midwest Blockchain Conference in June 2024, which attracted 500 attendees and representation from 34 universities. Previously, Evan held the presidency of Blockchain at Michigan from April 2023 to June 2025, focusing on expanding the blockchain industry at the University of Michigan, and worked in business development roles at Parcl, where innovative strategies in real estate investment were implemented, and at DeFiner. Evan co-founded and co-presided over the Michigan Cryptocurrency Investment Club from December 2021 to June 2023 and gained early experience as a telemarketer at Netatwork. Additionally, Evan is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of Michigan, expected to graduate in May 2025.
