Diederik van Daal

Diederik van Daal has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Diederik began their career in 2007 as the owner of DAAD projectmanagement. In 2015, they joined 4Synergy as a Consulting Partner, specializing in GDPR implementation and becoming a certified DPO. Diederik then worked as a Senior Project Manager at Jade Software Corporation, overseeing implementations of Jade Master Terminal. In 2016, they joined PostNL as a Project Manager, and in 2017, they served as the UAT Project Manager for DHL Supply Chain Service Logistics. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Portbase as a Business Manager and later as a Project Manager for Brexit Ferries, managing a program to prepare for new customs regulations post-Brexit. Diederik also worked at Heinen & Hopman as a Project Manager for AVG/GDPR and at Hogeschool Rotterdam as a Guest Lecturer in Logistics. Most recently, they joined P&O Ferries in 2021 as a Brexit go-live support specialist.

Diederik van Daal has a diverse education history. In 1980 to 1983, they attended Fontys University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a HEAO-CE degree in Marketing. Later, from 1997 to 1999, Diederik pursued their Master's degree in Transportation and Logistics at TIAS School for Business and Society. More recently, in 2017, they attended Maastricht University for a Data Protection Officer (DPO) program, although the field of study is not specified.
