Mark de Deugd

Mark de Deugd has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Mark started their career as a Junior Project employee at Passionate Bulkboek in 2011 before moving on to work as a Writer of SEO texts at Grizzly New Marketing from 2011 to 2013. Mark then worked as a Junior Researcher and Junior Policy Officer at the Municipality of Rotterdam directorate Sports & Culture from May to October 2013. Mark also had a role as a Public Researcher at Kunsthal Rotterdam from November 2012 to January 2013.

In 2013, Mark joined Eneco, an international energy company, where they held multiple roles. Mark started as a Customer Care Advisor for Retention Outbound from November 2013 to February 2015. Mark then became a Junior Coach and Day to Day Manager for Retention Outbound & Inbound from March 2014 to February 2015. Mark later worked as a Technical Advisor for Toon at Technical Support from February to July 2015. Mark then took on the role of Customer Care Manager at Eneco, managing and directing a large customer care department from July 2015 to January 2017. During their time there, they also worked as a Process & Work Force Management Specialist, as well as a Scrum Master.

From 2017 to 2019, Mark worked at the International Film Festival Rotterdam as the Responsibilities of Partnerships & Program Funding, where they wrote applications for funds and managed donor relationships. Mark then joined MrWork, a recruitment marketing software company, as a Team Lead and Scrum Master from January 2018 to February 2019.

In 2019, Mark joined Portbase as an Agile Lead, responsible for setting up the Agile vision and strategy for the organization. Mark focused on leading the organization to a higher Agile/DevOps level.

Most recently, Mark became an Agile Coach at the DevOps Agile Skills Association (DASA) in September 2021. DASA is a global community for DevOps and Agile skills development, providing certifications and support for organizations on their DevOps journeys.

Mark completed the DASA DevOps Leader program at DASA from 2021 to 2022. There is no degree associated with this program.

Mark then pursued Agile Leadership at Scrum Facilitators starting in 2022. The completion date is not provided.

Prior to that, Mark attended Utrecht University from 2012 to 2014, where they studied Master Art Policy and Management. Again, no degree is mentioned.
