Belinda Daugherty

Belinda Daugherty has been employed with PORTCO since April 2000. Beginning her career as Director of HR, Belinda was responsible for all aspects of payroll, personnel management and regulatory compliance. As the current Chief Operating Officer, Belinda superintends all PORTCO contract operations as well as the services provided to program participants with significant disabilities. . Prior to her employment with PORTCO, Belinda was the Liaison for the school to work transition program with a public school system in Hampton Roads. She is well versed in the challenges and barriers that individuals with disabilities face within employment.

Outside of her profession, Belinda enjoys time with her husband, Shawn on their 6 acre hobby farm, raising chickens, turkeys and maintaining her garden. Belinda is the proud mom of four and loves spending time with her six grandchildren.
