Vickie Gilmore

Vickie Gilmore has a strong background in Human Resources, with over 25 years of experience. Vickie is currently the Human Resources Director at PORTCO, Inc. since June 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Sr. Human Resources Generalist at Chenega Corporation from May 2015 to June 2020. Before that, they served as a Human Resources Manager at PCSI - Professional Contract Services, Inc from April 2010 to May 2015. Vickie also held the position of Human Resources Manager at Chugach Alaska Corporation from February 2005 to April 2010. Vickie began their career as a Human Resources Consultant at Chubb Group of Insurance Companies from October 1999 to February 2005. Prior to that, they worked as an Employee Relations Consultant at Anthem, Inc. from October 1997 to October 1999. Vickie started their career as a Personnel Specialist/Recruiter at The Signature Group from July 1995 to October 1997 and as a Human Resources Recruiter at Lillian Vernon from June 1994 to December 1994.

Vickie Gilmore obtained their Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Old Dominion University, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. In addition to their degree, Vickie also holds certifications in the field of HR. Vickie obtained the PHR certification from the HR Certification Institute, HRCI, in June 2022. Prior to that, they obtained the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM in July 2021.
