Nick Hattie

Nick Hattie is an experienced pilot currently serving as a First Officer for Porter Airlines Inc. on the E195 - E2 aircraft since December 2023. Previously, Nick worked as a Survey Pilot at Xcalibur Multiphysics from January 2023 to February 2024 and has extensive experience in LiDar survey operations with Aries Aviation Services Corp and Aries Aviation International. With a strong foundation in aviation, Nick holds both Canadian and American FAA Commercial pilot's licenses, is multi-engine and instrument rated, and has completed ATPL exams. Additional flight experience includes a role as a Cargo Line Pilot at Sunwest Aviation and service as a Skydive Pilot with Okanagan Air Ventures. Nick also possesses a background in sales coordination and maintenance, having operated a maintenance and repair business prior to focusing exclusively on aviation. Nick earned a Diploma in Commercial Aviation from Nova Scotia Community College, honing skills essential for a successful career in aviation.
