Mary Braddock

Director of Communications at Porter-Leath

Mary Braddock has been working in the communications field for over 10 years. Mary started their career as a Stewardship Coordinator at Church Health Center, where they worked with donors to maintain relationships and report fund appropriations. Mary then became the Communications Manager at Shelby County Books from Birth, where they managed messaging/branding, volunteer engagement, and signature special events. In July 2017, Books from Birth became the sixth program of Porter-Leath, and Mary was promoted to Director of Communications. In this role, they oversee all communications for Porter-Leath, including messaging/branding, media relations, and digital communications.

Mary Braddock has a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from The University of Memphis with a concentration in nonprofit administration. Mary also has a B.S. from University of Tennessee, Knoxville in college scholars with an emphasis in nonprofit leadership and an English minor. In addition, they are certified as a nonprofit professional (CNP) from the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.

They work with Angela Lamb - Human Resouces Director, Angela Meekins - Engagement Manager. Mary Braddock reports to Mike Haase, VP, Facilities.
