Ishan Shekhar

Ishan Shekhar is an experienced software engineer with a background in designing and implementing systems and integrations across various companies. Currently serving as SDE-3 at Porter since June 2025, Ishan previously held the position of SDE2 at Flipkart from May 2023 to May 2025, where efforts included revamping payment options to a microservices architecture. Earlier roles include a tenure as a tech engineer at Lenskart.com from September 2021 to May 2023, focusing on inventory and delivery management systems, and as a software development engineer at Kony, Inc. from August 2018 to October 2021, where systems were designed from scratch for backend integrations using Java. Initial experience began as an associate software engineer working with various backend banking service providers. Ishan earned a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar, in 2019.
