Porterville Unified School District
Ilissa Facchini is a dedicated physical education teacher at Porterville Unified School District since August 2021, with extensive coaching experience, notably as the head varsity softball coach at Mission Oak High School since January 2016. Ilissa has also served as a substitute teacher for Tulare County Office of Education and previously held coaching positions, including head softball coach for Dinuba Tribes Softball and assistant coach at RBI Softball. Educational credentials include a teaching credential in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from California State University - East Bay, a Master’s degree in Athletic Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Educational Studies from William Woods University. Ilissa's earlier roles include working as a bartender/cashier and various positions in retail and fitness, coupled with an associate degree from College of the Sequoias and a high school diploma from Tulare Union High School.
