Ken Spencer has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the education sector. Ken started their career as an Assistant Principal in the Visalia Unified School District, where they supported the Principal in operating La Joya Middle School from July 2000 to September 2005. Ken then joined the Delano Union Elementary School District as a Principal, overseeing the operations of Almond Tree Middle School and serving as the coordinator of Standards and Achievement in the Curriculum Office from October 2006 to June 2010. Ken later became a Principal in the Corcoran Unified School District from July 2009 to June 2015. Currently, Ken works as the Director of Curriculum and Technology at the Porterville Unified School District, a position they have held since June 2015.

Ken Spencer attended Brigham Young University from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching with a focus on History and Journalism. Ken also obtained a Bachelor's degree in History and Journalism with a concentration in Secondary Education during their time at Brigham Young University.
