Sue Acob has extensive experience in education and social services, primarily as an educator. Since August 2016, Sue has been teaching adults in the General Education Diploma program at Tulare Joint Union High School District. Prior to this role, Sue served as a home economics teacher at Porterville Unified School District for five years, and as a 6th-grade teacher at Guadalupe Union School District. Earlier experience includes roles as a Child Protection Social Worker and Independent Living Worker with Santa Barbara County Department of Social Services, and as an eligibility worker in various capacities with multiple social services departments. Sue's educational background includes a Foundational Mathematics Credential from the University of California, Riverside, as well as Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education from California State University, Fresno, and an AA Degree in Social Sciences from College of the Sequoias.
