Alia McMurray

Alia McMurray is an experienced graduate student in Middle Grades Education, with a strong background in engagement, outreach, and child development. Since May 2021, McMurray has served as an Engagement and Outreach Accelerator for Portfoliorocket.com, focusing on increasing engagement and developing outreach strategies. Prior roles include Child Care Specialist positions where McMurray implemented age-appropriate learning activities, as well as multimedia roles such as Multimedia Editor and Staff Photojournalist for The Observer, showcasing skills in photography, editing, and coordination. McMurray holds a Master’s degree in Junior High/Intermediate/Middle School Education and Teaching from National Louis University and a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Journalism and Mass Communications from Augustana College.
