Chris Gilbert is an experienced advisor and entrepreneur with a strong background in corporate development, strategy, and capital raising for start-ups and small businesses. Currently serving as an advisor at Venture Punks and a partner at Longtac Ventures, Chris has also held roles as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Portfolio T and a mentor at Alchemist Accelerator, where support is provided to early-stage B2B ventures. Notable achievements include co-founding Equitise, Australia's first equity crowdfunding platform, and contributing to Cake, a leading cap table management company. Chris's prior experience includes strategic roles in investment banking at Deloitte Australia and as a member of the Federal Treasurer's Fintech Advisory Group, alongside a robust educational background with degrees in Accounting and Finance and a Master's in Applied Finance.
