Dorus Bakker

Dorus Bakker currently serves as the Director of Finance at Porthos since May 2023 and has been a Project/Programme Manager at the Port of Rotterdam since September 2018, where involvement in the Porthos project focuses on CO₂ transportation and storage in the North Sea. Bakker was previously the Business Manager for Energy Transition Projects at the Port of Rotterdam, representing the joint venture in the same Porthos project. Prior experience includes roles at Maritime & Transport Business Solutions from October 2012 to September 2018, progressing from Analyst to Senior Consultant, providing finance and strategy advisory in the maritime sector with project participation across various countries. Academic qualifications encompass a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management and another in Economics & Business, both from Erasmus University Rotterdam, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the same institution.
