Bruce Lemasurier has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, currently serving as Market Manager at Portillo's Hot Dogs since January 2017. Prior to this role, Bruce held significant positions, including Director of Operations and Managing Partner at Granite City Food & Brewery from April 2012 to January 2017, and Operating Partner at Flat Out Crazy Restaurant Group from February 2011 to March 2012. Bruce also served as Director of Operations at Burrito Beach LLC from December 1997 to April 2009, overseeing the P&L and operations for a seven-unit Mexican Grill concept. In 1963, Dick Portillo and his wife Sharon invested their life savings of $1,100 into a hot dog stand called “The Dog House” in Villa Park, IL. The Dog House didn’t have running water or a bathroom. Dick had to run garden hoses from a local business to get the water he needed. The menu was simple – hot dogs, tamales, fries and a coke, all for under 35 cents. Through Dick’s hard work and determination, the Dog House evolved into Portillo’s and has become what it is today. Come and enjoy our legendary food served by the friendliest people in the business.
