Gert van Meerbergen

Gert Van Meerbergen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of technology and product management. Currently serving as Product Manager and CEO at BCS Epowerhr since May 2000, Gert oversees the development of a comprehensive web-based HR software featuring modules for personnel administration, performance management, and recruitment, among others. Additionally, Gert is involved with Portima as an Insurance Innovator for e-GOR, an insurtech platform launched in 2012 targeting the Belgian life insurance market. Prior to these roles, Gert owned Harukey, which focused on managing pension insurance contracts, and worked as an IT Consultant at Cronos. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies from Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen, complemented by earlier education at Sint-Jozefscollege Herentals.
