Betsy Konop

Betsy Konop is an experienced professional in arts education and public programs, currently serving as the Education & Public Programs Assistant at the Portland Art Museum since July 2009. In this role, Betsy engages diverse audiences through the Museum's collections and special exhibitions, overseeing monthly programming and collaborating with the Associate Director to foster community partnerships. Previous positions include Education Assistant and Special Exhibition Intern at the Portland Art Museum, Project and Archive Assistant at a private artist studio, and roles at Portland State University as Arts and Culture Section Editor and Assistant Program Coordinator for International Special Programs. Betsy also gained experience as a Collections Intern at the Library of Congress. Betsy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Business from Portland State University, completed in 2012.
