Catherine Hudson

Catherine Hudson is an experienced professional currently serving as the Individual Giving Coordinator at the Portland Art Museum since November 2022. Previously, Catherine held multiple roles at the Pittock Mansion Society, advancing from Visitor Services Representative to Visitor Services Supervisor, where responsibilities included visitor interaction and compliance with COVID-19 protocols. Catherine additionally performed as a soprano with The Dickens Carolers in 2021 and 2022, singing at various venues during the holiday season. Prior roles include Visitor Information Specialist at Hoyt Arboretum Friends and Environmental Education Instructor with Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District. Catherine has a strong educational background, holding a Master’s Degree in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Geology from Louisiana State University. Additionally, writing contributions have been made to Science Talk and EARTH Magazine.
