Stephanie Parrish

Director, Learning & Community Partnerships at Portland Art Museum

Stephanie Parrish is the Director of Learning & Community Partnerships at the Portland Art Museum. Stephanie has been with the museum since December 2018 and in their current role, they are responsible for conceiving and developing permanent collection and special exhibition public programs across all audiences, including adult, youth, and families.

Prior to their current role, Stephanie served as the Associate Director of Programs at the Portland Art Museum from December 2018 to March 2020. In this role, they were a member of the senior museum management team and was responsible for identifying and nurturing strategic regional partnerships with arts and cultural institutions, community groups, artists, college faculty, and individuals to develop and deepen collaborative programming. Stephanie also participated in institutional strategic planning, including serving on the Museum's equity and inclusion team.

Before joining the Portland Art Museum, Stephanie was an Instructor-Art Stephanie'story at Oregon State University from January 2008 to December 2008.

Their manager is Brian Ferriso, Executive Director & Chief Curator. They are on a team with Gareth Nevitt - CFO, Karie Burch - Director of Development, and Andrew Ruginis - Director of Technology.
