Jonas Angelet

Jonas Angelet is an accomplished Community Programs and Events Manager at Portland Center Stage at The Armory, where significant organizational outreach to QTBIPOC communities has been achieved. As a co-founder of A Beat Happening, a monthly music showcase, Jonas emphasizes inclusivity and representation in the arts. Previous experience includes roles in customer operations at Squarespace, art direction at Angelet Artworks, and patron services at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. With a strong background in education as an adjunct faculty member at multiple institutions and skills in graphic arts honed through a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Louisville, Jonas has continually contributed to community engagement and artistic development.
