Victoria Dean

Victoria Dean has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Victoria most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer at Portland, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to this, they were the Deputy Chief Executive at Portland from January 2022 to September 2022. From 2019 to 2022, Victoria worked at Google as the Global Director of Public Policy. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Partner at Portland. Before joining Portland, they held multiple roles at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, including British High Commissioner to Barbados & the Eastern Caribbean and Deputy Director Europe. Victoria also has experience with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, where they served as the Head of Strategic Finance and as the Head of Political Team, British Embassy Washington DC. Victoria began their career in 2001 as the Head of Communications, UK Representation to the European Union and later worked as the First Secretary, British Embassy Paris.

Victoria Dean attended the International School of Geneva from 1984 to 1995. Victoria then went on to the University of Kent from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained a BSC degree in Psychology.
