Dan Loomis

Dan Loomis, P.E. has extensive experience in engineering roles, currently serving as the Manager of T&D Standards Engineering at Portland General Electric since November 2013, where prior positions included Supervisor of Central Service & Design and Supervisor of Transmission Engineering & Specialized Design. From July 2007 to June 2012, Dan was a Transmission Engineer at Portland General Electric, focusing on the analysis and design of high-voltage transmission line projects. Previous engineering experience includes roles as a Mechanical Engineer at InFocus Corp., where Dan designed thermal systems for projectors, and as a Facilities Engineer at Hynix Semiconductor, supporting Ultra Pure Water systems. Dan also contributed as a Plant Engineer at Oregon Freeze Dry, aiding in general operations. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University, obtained in 2005.
