Jose Saettone

Jose Saettone, P.E. is a Senior T&D Control Systems Engineer at Portland General Electric since April 2023, providing technical direction and design review for substation projects while preparing configurations for various control systems. Prior experience includes roles as an Automation and Controls Engineer and Instrumentation Engineer at Intel Corporation from May 2018 to March 2023, where automation support for SCADA systems and instrumentation design were key responsibilities. Jose also served as an Instrumentation, Controls, and Electrical Engineer at BP from June 2011 to April 2018, supporting oil and gas production facilities and power generation plants in Prudhoe Bay, and participated in an accelerated development program as a Challenge Engineer. Educational qualifications include a Professional Science Master's in Electrical Power Engineering from Washington State University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
