Kevin Whitener

Kevin Whitener is an accomplished engineering professional with over three decades of experience in various sectors, including energy and manufacturing. At Portland General Electric, Kevin serves as the Principal Controls Engineer for Energy Storage, overseeing the engineering of significant battery storage projects and previously managing standby generation integrations for large customers. Kevin also chaired Clear Creek Communications' Board of Directors and held multiple managerial roles at Hawaii Electric Light Co., where supervision of a 13-member team was undertaken. Additionally, consulting roles at MIG, Inc. and POWER Engineers contributed to several multimillion-dollar projects in the pulp and paper industry. With a strong educational background that includes an MBA from Colorado State University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University, Kevin has consistently delivered projects on time and within budget, demonstrating expertise in project management and engineering.
