Matthew Merchant

Matthew Merchant, CPA, currently serves as Principal Accountant at Portland General Electric since October 2020, after previously holding the role of Senior Operational Analyst. Prior to this, Matthew worked at KPMG from September 2016 to October 2020, progressing from Audit Associate to Senior Audit Associate, and earlier held an Audit Intern position at the same firm during the summer of 2015. Matthew also gained experience as a Softlines Intern at Amazon during the summer of 2014. Matthew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Seattle Pacific University, earned between 2012 and 2016.
