Paul Kruger

Paul Kruger, PE, is an experienced electrical engineer specializing in substation design and engineering. Currently serving as the Manager of Substation Electrical Design Engineering at Portland General Electric since July 2016, Paul has previously held the position of Project Engineer. Prior to this role, Paul worked at Black and Veatch from May 2011 to July 2016 as an Electrical Engineer focused on substations, where responsibilities included preparing electrical design materials for various projects. Additionally, Paul spent over five years at First Energy Corp from December 2005 to May 2011 as an Electrical Engineer, contributing to the design, maintenance, and technical support of over 300 substations. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Cleveland State University, earned between 2003 and 2008.
