Clyde Barr

Clyde Barr currently serves as the Director of Voucher Programs at the Portland Housing Authority, overseeing the largest Housing Choice Voucher program in Maine since May 2023. Prior to this role, Clyde held the position of Policy Analyst at MaineHousing from June 2016 to April 2023. Earlier experience includes roles as a Research Assistant, Assistant Accreditation Coordinator, and Graduate Aide at the Muskie School & Cutler Institute at the University of Southern Maine from August 2013 to September 2014. Clyde holds a Master of Public Policy and Management with a focus on Policy Analysis from the Muskie School & Cutler Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies: Ethics and Social Institutions from the University of North Carolina Asheville.
