Judy Glickman Lauder

Judy Glickman Lauder is a Trustee at the Portland Museum of Art. Judy was previously employed as a Curatorial Research Associate at the National Gallery of Art from April 2021 to August 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Exhibition Research Associate in the Department of Photographs at the National Gallery of Art from April 2017 to April 2021.

Lauder began their career as a Jane and Morgan Whitney Fellow at The Metropolitan Museum of Art from September 2014 to August 2016. Judy then worked as an Instructor for Art Theirtory 295 Theirtory of Photography at Boston University from July 2013 to August 2013. Lauder was also a Teaching Fellow at Harvard University from September 2012 to December 2012.

Before their time at the National Gallery of Art, Lauder worked as a Curatorial Assistant at the American Federation of Arts from October 2008 to August 2011. Judy also served as a Small Business Developer with the United States Peace Corps from September 2007 to June 2008. In 2007, they were employed as a Cataloguer at ARTstor from January to September. From 2004 to 2006, Lauder worked as a Research Assistant at the Museum of Modern Art. Her first position was as a Curatorial Intern in the Department of Prints, Drawings and Photographs at the Philadelphia Museum of Art from June 2003 to August 2003.

Judy Glickman Lauder has a Ph.D. from Boston University, an M.A. from City University of New York-Hunter College, and a B. A. with honors from Williams College. Judy was also a Special Trustees Fellow at the University of Chicago.
