Amy Ruona She/Her/Hers

Amy Ruona serves as the Senior Manager of the Student Success and Health Department at Portland Public Schools, where responsibilities include managing teams, establishing communication protocols with community partners, and consulting on mental health issues affecting students. With expertise in systems management and policy development, Amy has contributed significantly to crisis response, racial equity initiatives, and mental health partnerships, expanding programs from 15 to 55 school sites. Previous roles include Prevention Education Manager at Portland Public Schools and Emergency Department Social Worker at Oregon Health & Science University. Amy holds a Master of Social Work from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English, Government, and Spanish from Saint Mary's College of California.
