Isaac Cardona

Isaac Cardona currently serves as the Senior Director for Portland Public Schools, a position held since July 2015, following roles as Principal and Assistant Principal within the same district. Prior experience includes serving as an Instructional Coach and Founding 7th Grade Teacher at IDEA Public Schools from 2010 to 2011, as well as Program Director and Manager of Teacher Leadership and Development at Teach For America Rio Grande Valley from 2008 to July 2010. Isaac Cardona is pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) at the University of Portland, expected to be completed in May 2024, and holds a Master's degree in Public School Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University, obtained in 2013.
