Liz Gilkey is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in educational research and evaluation. Currently serving as the Research and Evaluation Manager at Portland Public Schools, Liz has a rich background in educational assessment and policy. Previous roles include Education Assessment Program Manager at Friends of the Children and Founder/Principal Researcher at Educational Methods Group, LLC, where Liz focused on coaching educational organizations in data-driven goal setting. Additional experience includes leading the high-stakes evaluation of the McNair Scholars Program at Quantiful, LLC, and contributing to the Oregon Kindergarten Assessment as an Education Specialist for the Oregon Department of Education. Liz's research expertise stems from foundational roles in various educational organizations and scholarly work, supported by a Ph.D. in Educational Policy, Methodology, and Leadership from the University of Oregon, a JD from the University of Oregon School of Law, and an MA in Educational Leadership and Organizations from UC Santa Barbara.
