Renard Adams

Renard Adams is the Chief of Research, Assessment & Accountability at Portland Public Schools. Prior to their current position, Adams was the Manager, Recruitment and Retention at Baltimore County Public Schools from October 2007 to September 2021. Before their time at Baltimore County Public Schools, Adams was a Project Manager, MD Online IEP System and Statewide IEP Form and Format at Johns Hopkins University Center for Technology in Education from September 2005 to September 2007. Adams began their education career as a One-on-One Aide, Assistant Teacher, Special Educator, Assistant Principal, and Coordinator at Kennedy Krieger School from November 1994 to August 2005.

Renard Adams has a Doctor of Education from The Johns Hopkins University in Teacher Development and Leadership, a Graduate Certificate in Administration and Supervision of Schools from The Johns Hopkins University, a Masters of Science in Special Education from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Fine/Studio Arts, General from Morehouse College.
