Shashi Jain has a diverse and extensive work experience. Shashi is currently a Principal at Portland Seed Fund and the Founder of Exaptic Labs LLC, where they focus on accelerating product development and nurturing cross-disciplinary thinking. Shashi is also a Board Member at Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum, advising on STEM education and technology programs. Shashi has served as a Board Member at TIE OREGON FOUNDATION, where they advise on entrepreneurship and invention curriculum for high school students. Additionally, they have been a part of the Innovation Leader's Editorial Advisory Board, providing guidance and input. Shashi has also made significant contributions at Intel Corporation, where they held various roles including Senior Innovation Manager, Entrepreneur In Residence, and Innovation Manager. Shashi has developed strategic frameworks, incubated projects, and trained the organization in applying new innovation methodologies. Shashi is the Co-Founder and President of MakerForce, a organization that mobilizes makers and manufacturers to create essential supplies during times of crisis. Shashi has also founded MatterCompilers, a company that sells desktop 3D printers, offers consulting services, and builds a 3D printing community in Portland. Moreover, Shashi has served as an Affiliate Professor and Research Fellow in 3D Printing at Pacific Northwest College of Art. Overall, Shashi Jain has a strong background in innovation, entrepreneurship, and education.

Shashi Jain obtained a Masters degree in Business Administration from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, Shashi completed a MSEE degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1996 to 1998, and a BSCompE degree in Computer Engineering from The University of Kansas from 1992 to 1996. Shashi's high school education was completed at Lansing High School from 1988 to 1992. In addition, Shashi has obtained certifications including "The Better To-Do List: Interstitial Journaling" from LinkedIn, "Intel Harvard Leadership Challenge" from Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning, and "Innovation Coach" from Intel Corporation.
