Sam Garvin

Sam Garvin serves as Co-Owner and Board Member of Portland Thorns FC and Real Mallorca, with significant involvement in the sports industry. As Vice Chairman and Co-Owner of the Phoenix Suns since 2005, Garvin actively participates in the NBA Board of Governors. In addition, as Chairman and CEO of Garvin Promotion Group, Garvin leads a global consumer promotion fulfillment organization. Previous roles include Co-Chair of the Board Audit Committee and Chairman of EngagedMedia, and founding director positions at Direct Brands and IB. Garvin is noted for founding Continental Promotion Group and turning it into a major player in the consumer promotion space. Educational qualifications include a PhD in International Marketing Law and a Master’s in International Marketing from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
