Bruce Ely

Bruce Ely has over 20 years of experience in photography and has worked for several prominent companies. Bruce currently serves as the Staff Photographer and assignment editor for the Portland Trail Blazers. In this role, they are responsible for documenting the team's history and managing a team of photographers. Prior to this, Bruce was the Owner and Photographer at Bruce Ely Photography LLC, where they specialized in sports action and lifestyle photography. Some of their past and current clients include Sports Illustrated, ESPN, Nike, and the New York Times. Bruce also worked as a Photojournalist for The Oregonian, covering various assignments, including the Portland Trail Blazers, the BCS football championship, and the Winter Olympics. Bruce began their career as a photojournalist and designer at the Evansville Courier & Press.

Bruce Ely completed their Bachelor's degree in Journalism at the University of Montana, where they attended from 1994 to 1998.
