Courtney Gifford Gion

Courtney Gifford Gion has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Courtney began their career as the Miss Wyoming America in 2008 and went on to become the Miss Wyoming USA from 2012 to 2013. Courtney then transitioned into the field of sports, working as a Football Graduate Assistant at the University of Wyoming from 2011 to 2012. Courtney further pursued their passion for sports by taking on positions such as Director of Operations at the Las Vegas Outlaws in 2014 and Director of Game Day and Business Operations at the Portland Thunder in 2015. In 2016, they joined the Portland Trail Blazers @ the Rose Quarter, starting as an Event Manager and progressing to roles of increasing responsibility, including Senior Event Manager and Director of Events. Throughout their career, Courtney has also gained experience in creative operations management at Flood Marketing.

Courtney Gifford Gion holds a Master's degree in Communication, General from the University of Wyoming, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communication, General from the University of Wyoming from 2009 to 2010. Courtney also has an Associate of Arts - AA degree in Communication, General from Sheridan College, which they completed from 2008 to 2009. Additionally, they obtained an Associate of Science - AS degree in Communication, General from Sheridan College from 2006 to 2008.
