Kia Burton has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to present. Kia began their career at American Eagle Outfitters as an Assistant Manager, where they achieved high volume sales goals and played a role in the hiring process. From 2010 to 2017, Kia worked at Nordstrom in various roles, including Creative Projects Coordinator and Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Creative Projects. Kia managed new shop concepts and coordinated travel and schedules for multiple events. Since 2017, Kia has been an Executive Assistant to the President at adidas North America, providing day-to-day administrative support and handling communications with the Global Headquarters in Germany. In 2023, they joined the Portland Trail Blazers @ the Rose Quarter as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Revenue Officer.
Kia Burton earned a Certificate of Completion in Fashion Merchandising from Yakima Valley Technical College, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. Following this, they pursued an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Fashion Marketing at The Art Institutes from 2005 to 2007.
