Matt McGann

Matt McGann has a diverse work experience spanning from 2015 to 2023. Matt began their career as a Basketball Play-by-Play Commentator and Live Producer/Director at Kush Radio in September 2015. Matt also worked as a Producer/Director at OState TV from October 2015 to May 2017.

In 2016, McGann joined ABC Television as a Morning News Editor from December 2016 to June 2017. Matt also worked as a Production Associate at DraftExpress from May 2016 to July 2018.

In 2017, McGann became a Contractor at ESPN from July 2017 to July 2018. Matt then joined UT Arlington as a Graduate Assistant from July 2018 to August 2019.

From August 2019 to December 2022, McGann worked at The University of Texas at Arlington as a Video Coordinator.

In September 2022, they transitioned to AMR Agency, where they served as the Director of Digital Media until July 2023.

Finally, in July 2023, McGann joined the Portland Trail Blazers @ the Rose Quarter as a Video Scout.

Matt McGann attended Colleyville Heritage High School from 2009 to 2013, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Matt then went on to study at Oklahoma State University from 2013 to 2017, earning a Bachelor of Science in Sports Media Production.
