Nicholas Marek has a diverse background in broadcasting and communications. Nicholas started their career as the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the Fayetteville SwampDogs in 2013. Nicholas then moved on to become the Vice President and Play-by-Play Announcer for the Walter Cronkite Sports Network from 2012 to 2014. After that, they joined the Lone Star Brahmas as the Director of Broadcasting and Communications from 2014 to 2018. Currently, Nicholas is the Director of Broadcasting and Communications for the Portland Winterhawks Hockey Club, a position they have held since 2018.
Nicholas Marek attended Arizona State University from 2010 to 2014, where they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Journalism and Mass Communication.
