R. Christopher Gray, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP has a comprehensive work experience in the field of architecture. R. Christopher started their career at Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart & Associates in 2004, where they worked as a Project Architect and Contract Administrator. In 2006, they joined Collins Cooper Carusi Architects, Inc. as an Associate, and remained with the company until 2019. During this time, they gained valuable experience and expertise in various architectural projects.

In 2019, R. Christopher Gray joined Portman Architects as a Senior Associate and Senior Project Manager. R. Christopher quickly moved up within the company, taking on roles such as Principal, Senior Vice President, and Director of Operations. Currently, they hold the position of Principal, Executive Vice President, and Director of Operations at Portman Architects.

Throughout their career, R. Christopher Gray has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of architectural operations. R. Christopher is a highly accomplished professional in the field and has made significant contributions to each organization they have worked for.

R. Christopher Gray, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP completed their Bachelor's Degree in Design at Clemson University in 1997. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Architecture at Clemson University and successfully completed it in 2003.
