Chris Wichmann serves as Vice President of Construction for Portman Holdings and is responsible for projects developed in the United States. During his 30 years of experience in construction, Chris has worked on multiple product types; including airports, office buildings, hotels, retail, sports stadiums, and mixed-use developments. He previously served as Vice President of Construction for Forest City Enterprises and most recently as Director of the Americas, Project Management for CBRE.

Chris began his career as a construction manager before moving into general contracting and eventually into commercial real estate development. His operational background focuses on Land Development, Feasibility Studies, Facility Management, Mixed-Use and Renovation.

He graduated with honors from Saint Louis University with a BS in Business Management and Marketing and has a Master of Construction Management in civil engineering from Washington University in St. Louis where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
